The group has 2 production sites, spread between the Grenoble region and the Pyrénées Atlantiques, where more than 70 employees work. The R&D team is constantly working on the development of new materials, products and processes.

Since 1945, ongoing research efforts have made it possible for Poral ® to developp its own techniques for compressing, sintering and forming powders for advanced-technology filtering applications. The technical background of Poral results from a long experience acquired since Poral ® compagny was know as "Alliages Frittés METAFRAM ®" and renamded Sintertech in 1991.
Today, as part of Poral ® Corporation brands as Poral®, Metafram®, Metagliss®, Oloron frittage® and Additive Metal® are recognized expert in the manufacturing of sintered elements.
Based upon its own proprietary process and materials, the compagny is able to offer a broad range of sintered metal and applications.
